It is open-source, ad-free, and subscription free.

• No subscription, and support for bringing your own client id
• Shows as many preview images as possible, and displays them large by default

• It uses Material design, and the app is being updated to be more so

• Supports multireddits
• Supports search of the frontpage, all, a subreddit, or a multireddit

There is an active community for Slide on the /r/slidereddit subreddit, which anybody is welcome to join.

good but can't see nsfw content in app? is toggled on but nothing doing..

Great successor to the original slide app. It was a bit of a hassle to get an api key (client_id), but can't complain for being free. Once you get an api key, enter it into settings>general>reddit client id.
