Ayman Suwaid: An Arab Icon in Quran Recitation and Tajweed

A scholar of the ten readings and a doctor of Tajweed and its rules, he grew up in a religious family, in a home filled with remembrance of God and the recitation of His verses. He loved the Quran and became attached to it, and he became passionate about Tajweed and became infatuated with it. He decided to specialize in its study, both academically and traditionally. He traveled to several Arab institutes and universities, studying with prominent sheikhs and reciters, eventually settling in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he has resided since 1400 AH. The Syrian Islamic preacher, Dr. Ayman Rushdi Suwaid, was born in Damascus in 1374 AH (1955 AD).
