Media-keys do not work on Android TV, forcing you to manually navigate the quite clunky interface every time you want to pause, skip, or stop the playback. Large sections of the interface is seemingly sorted alphabetically (seriously?) meaning if the devs add a new category, everything is shifted around. Good luck using macros or having poor eyesight while trying to use your most-used categories. Yeah, perhaps time to put "Nyheter" on a separate button that never moves around? NRK requires that you make a separate account (why?) for storing stuff like favorites, instead of just using the device's google account (like literally all other apps do). It makes no sense. Besides that, the live streaming functionality works pretty well, with decent image quality. The app is too poorly designed for me to use it for anything else than watching the evening news, to be honest.

"Just works", and generally nice to use. Cons; Unfortunate that it requires accounts for lock-in and not user experience reasons. Animated show previews triggers automatic pause in other player apps.

Hi Nicolai, thank you for the feedback. You can use the app without an account within Norway. By logging in, you are able to save your progress and favorite content. If you use the app in other EEA countries, some content requires a verified Norwegian user account due to copyright-related reansons. You can find more info at https://info.nrk.no/

3 stars. Only because I live in the US and a lot of titles aren't available outside of Norway. I grew up in a norwegian household so I have an obsession with Norwegian culture. I found this app and was stoked, but theres no subtitle option which is another disappointment. If a subtitle feature was added, 5 star app!
