Simple and intuitive to use, the app allows you to search for places to visit in a number of ways. Use the near me map or list to find out what’s around your current location, or discover places based on your selected region or county as well as any specific needs like somewhere that’s great for the kids, something coastal, or places that welcome dogs.

A great app for anyone on the move or planning a trip, you can explore all 400 English Heritage places to visit and never be lost for ideas for a great day out again.

Truly dreadful - to the point of being useless. No ability to search on town, only region or specific property. No ability to search by map - you can call up a map based on current location, but you can't turn navigate anywhere else (and the app only loads the map tile for your location, so the rest of the country is a blank yellow blob). Awful.

Poor quality app. Needs to take inspiration from the National Trust app. Areas for improvement: 1- Not compatible with all devices (e.g. Samsung Galaxy S22+). 2- Map is not scrollable across and only defaults to Near Me. 3- No ability to filter locations based on any criteria. 4- Needs more photos for each location. Thanks.

Based on the fact its not been updated since 2021, it does not work properly on Android 13 and says its unsupported on Android 14. On A13 after first use, NearMe feature fails to work/update based on location. Map fails to redraw properly and you have to toggle buttons to force it to redraw, very buggy. On A14 Google Play store reports this app isn't supported on the newer Android 14 O/S. It's pretty useless. Come on English Heritage update the app!!
