About this app

After 23 editions, the Dionysian Film Days open a new chapter and take the name Regards Satellites.

With the Regards Satellites application, follow the programming of this 2nd edition, and be notified in advance of the sessions and events which will take place at the l'Écran cinema from February 27 to March 11, 2024.

Regards Satellites invites filmmakers and festivals to offer their selection of rare films, thus offering a fascinating perspective on their cinematographic tastes and artistic vision: filmmaker Arthur Harari and his guest, chief editor Laurent Sénéchal; Yann Gonzalez and his guest singer Oliver Sim (The xx); filmmakers Bertrand Mandico; Youssef Chebbi; Adila Bendimerad & Damien Ounouri; the Panorama of Colombian Cinema; the Chéries-Chéris festival and L’ACID POP.

At the heart of this new programming, the festival invites four talented programmers to entrust us with their Satellite Views:

Claire Allouche: Focus on the Argentinian committee El Pampero Cine

Rebecca Fons: In the heart of the United States: Another independent cinema

Claire Diao: From L.A. Rebellion to Black Lives Matter

Daniela Ricci: Imaginaries in exile - Five African Filmmakers tell their stories

Please note, three exceptional Master classes during which these filmmakers with innovative and unconventional approaches will share their particular visions of cinema:

• In partnership with ACRIF, the duo Adila Bendimerad & Damien Ounouri (The Last Queen),

• in partnership with the University of Paris VIII, the director Youssef Chebbi (Ashkal, the Tunis investigation) and the El Pampero Cine collective composed of Luciana Acuña, Laura Citarella, Mariano Llinás, Agustín Mendilaharzu, Alejo Moguillansky, Laura Paredes.

Unique carte blanche from 6 filmmakers: Arthur Harari, Bertrand Mandico, Yann Gonzalez with Oliver Sim (the XX), Youssef Chebbi, Adila Bendimerad and Damien Ounouri

And at three festivals: Panorama of Colombian Cinema, Chéries-Chéris and Acid Pop.
