The games not half bad, the reason for 1 star is the predatory tactics of the developers to pretty much force you to spend money in order to progress. There's no progression after ~3 days in unless you spend. They refuse to listen to playerbase. Most recent update made some items useless that you were able to obtain for free, and replaced it with an item you can only get through spending. Potions require spending and you can't play without them. Replace the dev team and the game would be fine.

Got to the first boss in the tutorial, then at some point closed the game. When I signed back in, my character is walking in place and I can't go back to base. I can click on the opaque box that says "back to base", and the confirm screen does come up, but when I click "confirm", the screen goes back to walking in place. Pressing the "Back" button on the bottom right doesn't do anything either. Force stopping the app, clearing the cache, and clearing the data also does nothing.

It's basically MyHeroes Lite. They don't make anything steep as far as in-game purchases but that's a short-term bonus. You basically need to upgrade your hero by running dungeons. Your gear and drops is entirely chance based, same with upgrade material. You can afk and it doesn't take a lot of space. Other than a few racists the community is nice and helpful.
