Red Comrades is an updated version of one of the best Russian comic adventure games, it was released back in 1998 and earned a truly nationwide love! The updated game retains the atmosphere of the original, but now with full smartphones and tablets support . In addition, all locations were manually redrawn for widescreen and more convenient control was added as well.

About the game:

Russia is in a midst of Civil War. Both the front line and Ural River splits the village Backwoods in two. One part of the village is somehow controlled by the brave Red Army division headed by Chapaev. Remnants of the cowardly Whites are still comfortably stationed on the other side.
Vasily Ivanovich Chapaev and his fellow aide Petka wake up to find themselves in a bad hangover and in a worse mood. They realize that someone has stolen the Red banner from the HQ. Our heroes are totally depressed with such a misfortune, just like every decent Red army fighters should be.
This unbearable offense leaves them no choice but to sneak into the enemy territory and to retrieve the precious banner.
Although it's not the end of the story yet! Somewhere on the moon, legions of alien invaders prepare to conquer Earth. But could such a little thing really give a scare to the Red Army heroes?

Ratings and reviews

To get past the spot in chapter 2 where the door to the right us too far, with Android 13 enable developer and go to enable multiview for all apps. Then hit the 3 bar button to see all open apps and long press the top of Red Comrades to open it in split view and you'll be able to touch the door to the right to select the walk icon! For those who can't get it to start (think this was fixed tho), DENY the permission request for storage and it'll work, especially if you're logged in with Google.

I think this is under valued by some reviews. Purchased this because I loved darkestville, and I wasnt disappointed. Yes some translations are off and jokes are not always to my taste. But it's a good lengthy point and click. Good puzzles, big maps which can be a bit daunting, but you get there. Would recommend changing the controls for mobile play. Only nag I found was often the tall guy stands right on an exit arrow in the door way, but you can become him and move him. Easy fix.

2 stars for only able to play chapter 1. Anka will not go thru door at end of hall near photo studio in chapter 2...game over, can not proceed. I have been trying to hit every single pixel many many many times. Can not get exit to activate. Guess I won't bother with the next games...
