Помойное днище а не приложение. Сканер qr работает через одно место, посмотрите как делаются такие приложения, тот же Qr & barcode scanner

Свою роль выполняет. Однако можно и нужно выпустить приложение в "местном" магазине приложений. И ещё АПИ взаимодействия с основной камерой нещадно устарел: при сканировании на дисплее устройства все отображается в 14 кадров (утрированно) и качество в целом мыльное. Также приложение не запрашивает самостоятельно повторные разрешения у системы на съёмку, использование геопозиции и т.д. Если дать разрешение на съёмку "только в этот раз", открыв приложение снова, отсканировать марку не выйдет.
