About this app

F 11 was Sweden's strategic reconnaissance unit during the Second World War and the Cold War. F 11's pilots and navigators flew unarmed reconnaissance versions of, among others, Spitfire, Tunnan, Lansen and Draken over the Baltic Sea and sometimes - over the territory of the opposite side.

The tactic of not being discovered and shelled was: maximum speed at the lowest altitude.

In the F11 Museum you can not only see legendary aircraft and previously top-secret equipment - you can also fly yourself in one of our authentic simulators. The children have their very own simulator and can try out a real Dragon. Website: www.f11museum.se/
