I found this app after realizing Gboard's keyword replacement feature wouldn't handle large blocks of text. It was recommended by the CoPilot app and after using it for only a few minutes, I'm just blown away. Other than dealing with the translucent icon that I can't seem to remove from the screen, I have no complaints. Edit: I can't believe how responsive the author is. Minutes after I posted my review, I got a response from the author and I was instructed how to clear up the problem.

Hey Jack, can you please share a screenshot to support@typinghero.app? I'd love to see that translucent icon and see what I can do about it.

It's really good and can handle large texts. but the problem is it pop's up my text whenever i type text shortcut, even though i don't want it to pop up in the keyboard. it would be better if i type my shortcut, then it suggest my full text related to that Shortcut as a preview and so i could avoid popping that text anywhere . Like g board does

Sorta kinda useful but sooooooo expensive if you want more than ten text expansions, so there's kind of a limit to how useful you can allow yourself to find this app. Like a lot of security-conscious users, I have automatic updates turned on, so using an old version isn't an option for me unless I decide to download the app from a less reputable source, defeating the object. Which meant the first I knew about the new limitations on free users was when I hit one. Sure, it'd be worth a few pounds, but thirty pounds for a lifetime license is almost the price of a cheap physical macro keyboard or a new-release PC game, and about six times the price of other automation software such as Tasker. And paying monthly is a little hard to swallow for something that runs entirely on my own device, ongoing development notwithstanding.
