About this app

This App provides Eskom customers with self-service capabilities such as account, billing and meter reading functionality. The MyEskom Customer App is created and officially endorsed by Eskom Holdings SOC Limited.

Eskom customers can:
- View their electricity account/s
- View the following for a selected account
• Account Balance
• Last Bill Details: Billing Date, Payments Received, Adjustments, Monthly Charges
• Account Details: Name, Postal Address, Email
• Premise Details: Premise Description, Premise ID, Service Point ID and Pole Number
• Bill Delivery Method
- Submit Meter Reading linked to your Account
- Submit Meter Reading Remarks in the event you are unable to read your meter
- Request an Update of your Customer Details
- Change Bill Delivery Method to E-mail
- Provides useful links to credit card payment providers
- Submit a Basic Query

Excluded:
1. Prepaid vending is not included. You cannot buy prepaid tokens via this App.

Have downloaded and installed app and tried to register as a new client. Tried numerous times only to receive 'Technical Error' when I hit submit. Typical government run facility. Meanwhile I can't buy more prepaid because Eskom, it seems, has a problem which is the only reason I installed the app in the first place - to try and find out what's going on! Now the app doesn't work.

Once again, I have tried multiple times to log into the app, can't gain access, I've even deleted the app and reinstalled the app, needless to say NOTHING has changed! It's extremely frustrating, considering I was able to log in last week! Surely, this issue, which I complained about last year as well, could be resolved by now!!! This is unacceptable by all standards! Some people rely on the app for a multitude of reasons. How are they supposed to do what needs to be done! Very disappointed!!!

The Raygun of apps! Should get 0 stars! This app never works, another classic Eskom fail. There's always a 'technical issue'. I'll uninstall and reinstall, if I'm lucky it'll be able to log in after 20 attempts and multiple uninstalls. Useless!!! Standard Eskom offering!
