About this app

Team Management. Simplified.

The TeamSideline app allows you to access your existing TeamSideline Team Site teams.

For each team, you can manage your events, roster, and attendance. You can also view announcements, links, downloads, and send a team or staff communication.

If you are a coach or team coordinator, you can create a new TeamSideline Team Site team to manage your team, plus link to any TeamSideline schedule to populate all the games.

I use the app as a sports director. It has been getting better over the years. My families like the app, others are indifferent, and some love it. As for me, it does what I need it to do, which is to have my coaches communicate with teams and check attendance. There's a lot more the app does, but that's more than enough for me.

As a coach, when trying to send a message to the team you cannot see what you are typing. Poor programming. Going to try to convince the organization to switch systems. Update. The app emails section has gotten worse, not better. This app is terrible from the coaching side. If it was up to me, we would not be using it. These are basic programming solutions that are easily fixable. TS is choosing not to.

If a team has two coaches, and one coach input information, the other coach cannot make a change to the particular event. This can be very burdensome if there is a field, location, or time change. There should be shared permissions or administrative rights to making changes. This type of shared permissions is so common in the app world and data management systems. It's shocking it is not available here and makes the system almost not functional because of it.
