As someone who lives in CA, I track wildfires across the state from big to small. This app makes it very easy to pick out the fire aircraft fighting the fires. That said, there are a bit of aircraft missing, I would love to help add more aircraft to the app.

That’s great to hear! Always open for help on missing aircraft! Could you mail me at ernst@mulde.rs? Many thanks!

I've been using Waterbomber for over a week and if you are looking for where the fire is, this is your app. You can use flight radar but you have to dig through the weeds to see the tankers from all the rest of the traffic out there. This app tracks just the tankers and copters across the west. You can see just what your looking for. I gave 4 stars as I don't yet see all the SEATs. And I may be missing it but I would like to be notified of aircraft launching or flying just in the areas I set.

Hey Tom, thanks for the feedback! Since the app is still quite new, I'm still adding more and more aircraft to it! Hopefully I can add the missing SEATs soon.
With the zone tab you can set certain areas, whenever one of the tracked aircraft enters your zone you'll receive a notification. The takeoff notifications you can find on the settings page.

Maybe I'm missing a setting somewhere, but the app shows me a total of four aircraft. Across the entire United States. I'm no expert, but I suspect there might be a few more than four. Uninstalling.
Hey!
The app only tracks aircraft involved in firefighting operations. So it doesn’t show all aircraft over the US!
