“What is My IP Address” will find all your IP addresses, network interfaces, networks you are connected to and will allow you to Find IP Location and Check IP of your choice (Trace IP).
This app has four main features:
- IP Addresses: find all IP addresses a device currently has, including IPv4 and IPv6
- Interfaces: find all network interfaces on a device
- Networks: see all the networks the device is currently connected to, like Mobile network and WiFi
- IP Lookup: IP Locator or the so called IP Finder allows you to check IP details and find IP Location on the map (which is called IP Geolocation)
Have you ever wondered whats my ip or how I can show my ip? What is my IPv4 or my IPv4 address? The app lets you see your external IP address (Public IP address, or Real IP, or Internet IP address) no matter if you are connected to a mobile connection or WiFi, your local IP address (the so-called private address in the local area network which might be your home network or just any other WiFi network). You will also see the hostname associated with your public IP address, if it has any. You will also be able to find the IP address location of your current IP address or any other address that you might want to check. Details include: country, region, city, organization, IP range and AS number, coordinates (latitude and longitude), and a map that shows the actual location of these coordinates.
In the “Interfaces” (network interfaces) navigation tab you will be able to see a list of all your network interfaces, their names, how many IP addresses are associated with each one of them, and details like MAC address.
In the “Networks” navigation tab, you will be able to see the currently connected Mobile network and WiFi network. The WiFi Info, if the device is connected to the Wifi router, includes things like WiFi standard, SSID, frequency, security type (like PSK), is the network hidden, link speed, and details about IP, DNS, DHCP, Proxy details, as well as routing information and more! The details extracted about the Mobile Networks include, in addition to the things above, details like type of network (like GSM, 3G, LTE, GPRS, HSDPA, etc.), MTU (Maximum Transmission UNIT) and other details.
The “IP Lookup” navigation tab is actually an IP checker that you can use to track IP address - it can be any IP address you can think of. Including IPv4 and IPv6. Just enter it into the form and hit “IP Lookup” to view the network provider of this IP, and location details like country, region, city, postal code, local currency, latitude and longitude, and a map showing a pin where this IP address is located.
This tool may come in handy for someone who is a network administrator, or just the regular guy who is trying to diagnose network problems or see if the VPN service that they are using is actually working.
We have created a quick onboarding guide to make sure you will feel at home in our app, which is also your app. Any feedback is welcome and will be taken into consideration.
