has very few things it can do (has no settings for customization for example) but it could do everything I needed it do, and could do it well. only complaints are it displays only the amount of time between two selected frames and not also the amount of frames, and it's way too easy to accidentally delete all your timing data (icon doesn't look like it would delete data, no confirmation message, undo message wasn't up long enough for me to read it), and both of those problems aren't too bad.

The app is pretty good, does the job very well and no ads, surprised this hasn't gotten more attention, it definitely deserves more. Only bad thing I'm experiencing is the slight zoom on the preview when I open a video, but exporting frames aren't affected by it so it's fine. Great app 😁

Great App, I am wondering since the frames are being analyzed, would it be possible to automatically remove the duplicated frames from a video? Sometimes a video has been altered by software to create a "standard framerate" by adding duplicate frames, instead of frame interpolation, I need a tool to return the original video frames despite a non standard frames per second.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, we are unable to implement this feature due to technical limitations. To deduplicate frames, we can recommend FFmpeg's 'mpdecimate' filter instead.

What's new

Frameskip 2.5.1 - How embarrassing, wouldn't you like to tell them that? Horseradish

- Fixed that aspect ratio bug, probably. Videos should no longer appear zoomed in under some circumstances. Sorry for the wait...
- Frameskip is now compatible with predictive back gestures.
- Significantly optimized the app, which should reduce battery use overall, reduce download size, and improve performance on lower-end devices.
