The game works well and plays exactly like you would expect. The permissions required are too onerous, as is the norm these days (but I still don't like it). I'd consider paying for the ad-free version, but I feel they are asking too much for a basic copy of an existing public domain game, especially since the paid version still requires too-much access to my private data.

UPDATE: For some reason, every time I stop looking at my game for fifteen seconds, it not only goes to sleep - but lowers the brightness on my whole phone, which won't come back until I go to my main settings! 😕Not sure if this was due to a recent update, but it's sooo frustrating. It's clean, which I like. Not a lot of bells and whistles - also good.

I have been playing this game for years and love the challenge of playing myself in terms of my winning streaks and setting myself goals of not exceeding my time/game as well. Do not know why but about 2-3 weeks ago the statistics started changing on their own and with every game it would increase my games played, so I would play 30 games with 30 wins and it would show me having played 42 games with 30 wins. Someone must have done an update and screwed up the statistics programming.
