I've only been using for a couple days but I use a ton of apps for all purposes, and this one hits all the sweet spots, and does it well! Kudos to the developers and to Breville for providing the resources for it. Super easy add your device, and then get custom results for the device s you have, along with easy, informative, info for use, maintenance, cleaning, tips, etc. Tons of video snippets for the results as well. I love the general ingredient settings part for your device. Love it!!!

Many problems with the app. e g. "Last Cooked" log rarely saves, even if it does you can't add notes so custom cooks aren't reproduceable. Notifications only work 1/2 of the time or only if the app is actively opened. If app somehow disconnects from Joule it won't reconnect and continue cooking. If phone is not close to Joule, i.e. it's in the kitchen and you're upstairs, even with a high-quality wifi mesh network in home, Joule will disconnect and ruin your 24 hr cook. List goes on... Grrrr

I had so much issue trying to connect the Joule oven, went through every single line for the connectivity troubleshooting. I almost gave up and return it but thought about try with my ipad and it got connected. The app and the oven are great but it's just too much trouble. So save your time by trying to connect by an iOS device, it seems to get connected easier, and it would pop up on your account in the android device.
