It's a little clunky, slow and the randomization seems a bit off. (I keep getting lover -> son/daughter or father/mother over and over again, this app's freaky lol). Even when I try to change cards it will give the same thing over and over. Also when I try to change the race card pulled it gives me classes instead of races, which is a bummer when I've already pulled 3 humans or something and want something a little different. I also may notice it more because I tend to go on mass NPC creation binges so it's more apparent to me. All in all it's fun to use and useful if you're stuck creatively but definitely needs some work. And this is totally not relevant to the review, just something I, personally would like. Can we get a webapp in addition to the phone app? The phone can be hard to read for us oldies and I would like to be able to pull up an app on my PC, where I'm already taking my game notes and just have it up on my other monitor. I would love that.

Surprisingly sweet yet incredibly helpful. The tool acts and looks like a tarot deck, but with the intention of writing the stories of characters and backgrounds. While the UI is a little difficult to work through, and you can't reset a character without going back to the first menu (wipes the unsaved draws), I still enjoy this app and I think I will be using it for a while!

I backed the kickstarter for these cards and just recently got the physical cards to enjoy at home. Used the app for the first time recently and am quite impressed by the outcome, but as a couple of other reviews have mentioned, it would be nice to have the ability to rotate/flip the two aspect cards. It would also be interesting to see if we can load the expansion card decks into the app eventually, like the Dark Myths, or Sci-Fi and Steampunk cards
