Drag & Drop Calendar is a calendar app that has Schedule, Week Agenda, Month, Day, and Week modes, and lets you drag and drop events from one day, week, or month to another.
We created a short one minute video that shows how to drag and drop an event, and the video is included as the first item in the set of graphic assets for this Google Play Store listing.
1. Schedule mode shows events in a continuous vertical scroller. You can place your finger in the date column on the left side of the screen, and swipe up or down to quickly see events in past, current, and future months and years. You can also go the Settings page and set the date column to be on the right side of the screen instead of the left. If you press your finger on an event until a colored border appears around the event, you can drag the event up or down to a new day, as shown in the video.
2. In Week Agenda mode, you can swipe left or right to switch to the previous or next week. If you press your finger on an event until a colored border appears around the event, you can drag the event to another day of the week.
3. In Month mode, you can swipe left or right to switch to the previous or next month. If you press your finger on an event until a colored border appears around the event, you can drag the event to another day of the month, as shown in the video.
4. In Day mode, you can swipe up or down to change the hour range shown, or swipe left or right to switch to the previous or next day. If you press your finger on an event until a colored border appears around the event, you can drag the event from one hour block to another hour block.
5. In Week mode, you can swipe up or down to change the hour range shown, or swipe left or right to switch to the previous or next week. If you press your finger on an event until a colored border appears around the event, you can drag the event from one day and hour block to another day and hour block.
6. If you want to jump to a specific event or date rather than scrolling a day/week/month at a time, you can easily navigate to the desired event by using the "Search for Event" or "Go to Date" options in the "More" menu in the upper right corner.
7. In Week, Week Agenda, and Month modes, you can click on the header for any day of the week to jump to the Day mode for that day, which allows you to see more detail for the day's events.
8. To add a new event, you can double-click a time block in any calendar mode to quickly add an event at that time. Or you can click the "+" button in the top bar.
9. You can always quickly jump back to the current date by clicking the Today button (a calendar icon) in the top bar.
10. You can use the side menu to easily change the calendar mode, or change the selected calendars for which to show events, or bring up the Settings or Help pages.
11. Repeating events are fully supported. You can choose to have the event repeat Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly, and you can set the recurrence to never end, to end on a chosen date, or to end after a chosen number of occurrences.
12. Reminders/Notifications are fully supported. You can add multiple reminders for an event, and can specify the number of minutes, hours, days, or weeks before the event that the reminder occurs. You can choose the reminder to be a popup notification on your device, or an email.
13. You can add one or more of the Contacts on your device as Guests for an event.
14. You can select a Location for the event by searching Google Places.
15. You can use the "Import Calendar" option in the "More" menu to copy events from one calendar to another. You could copy the events from Google's "Holidays in United States" calendar to your own Holidays calendar, and then remove holidays you don't want, and add holidays that aren't in Google's Holiday calendar.
Other details about the app:
1. The app currently only works with Google Calendar.
2. You can show multiple calendars from the selected Google Account at the same time.
