Duplicate Contacts Remover is the application which automatically scan, detect and delete duplicate contacts on your phone.

We all face problems when we buy a new phone or migrating from one account to another social media account because all the social media has syncing functionality. This functionality stores your all contacts in to their social cloud for example WhatsAap, Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, etc.

Contacts backup and Contacts transfer can store and saved as .vcf, .csv and .text for your future reference. In addition, these backup file can be shared via email.

You can take backup of your contacts from SIM card, Phone memory, Google or any other social media accounts which are linked to your phone separately and individually.

I thought all was well after running this about a month or two ago, but I'm starting to run into missing alternative phone numbers for contacts I had let it combine and and delete duplications; so somehow, it deleted the only copies of some of their alternative numbers.. this might make some say "So what? You still have a number to reach them at," but when you have doctors who have given you their personal cell numbers and now all you have is their office number again, it's extremely upsetting because you certainly don't want to ask said doctors, who're busier than all of Russia's best hackers during the 2016 election, to give you their numbers again because you accidentally deleted it- in the age of redundant backups upon backups upon backups.. Yet one thing many don't realize until it's too late, like myself, when you agree to sync your content, everything you do on your device at the recent moment is all that is synced.. there's no prior versions saved (with most sync programs).. so when this app erased my contacts' extra numbers, all it took was one automatic sync to kick on and make sure that all accounts and devices in sync with my account were wiped clean of the contacts, to match my current device. The only reason I didn't give one star is because I'm still hoping the backup they allow you to make before you change anything will still contain the contacts I'm missing.. if it does, I'll try to remember to come back and give another star for a total of 3.

This app deleted so many of my friends and family. I don't understand why it thought they were duplicate? It deleted them all together! So not only do I have no duplicate contact but I have no contact at all. amazing it left numbers with no names? I really hoped it would be able to complete the task. However it left me re-entering my children's names and numbers. I also have an app for blocking unknown callers. So I had many calls not received. This was a hot mess!

This works fantastically!! I mistakenly imported my contacts twice after switching to a new phone and the stu*id Google Phone app here didn't even have any feature to delete duplicate contacts, neither could i delete all contacts so that i would reimport them just once. But this app solved my problem at once. 😃 As soon as you open it ,it scans and selects the duplicate contacts automatically and helps you delete them.
