This is a HORRIBLE tutorial. If I play this on the hardest level on my own I win pretty regularly. If I follow the tutorial guide I not only loose consistently but they are EPIC losses: gammons and backgammons! The tutorial suggests moving checkers around in your home area rather than moving out of the opponent home area right up until loss by backgammon. I wanted to get better, and this program was recommended. I'm counting the $ lost, uninstalling, and buying a book to teach me.

the graphics are cool everything runs smoothly I played three games and the computers. 9 doubles and I got two. Wow that seems very random come on that's the easiest level you got also I'm the one that should be getting double so I can learn how to play this game but you'd rather me get discouraged and leave. yeah this game sucks computer gets way too many freaking. Doubles yeah you blow

Every statistician can tell you that a sample size of 3 games is completely insufficient to detect any trace of randomness. Would you have given us a rating of five stars if you won your first three games?

The game usually gives itself an edge, getting exactly the throw it needs. You'll be stuck on the bar, not getting a move while the computer fills its home table. I get plenty of high doubles but usually when I can't use them. Today, it got off the bar with a 5-4 throw, but moved three times: 4, 5, 2. Blatant. It's probably the best free backgammon game, and I suppose cheating the throws is the easiest way to adjust the computer skill level. But on easy levels it makes idiotic errors.
