When you download such an app, it's not for the quality of the audio, the ease of navigation or the gamification tools that you're downloading it. You download it for a very simple purpose, listening to the word of God. Sometimes, with the slightest connection weakness, it does not allow a simple play back of chapters already played. Looks like it does not have cache, and it bugs a lot very randomly. Hadn't I been desperate for having it, I'd have used another one.

I gave this another shot because of playback speed controls but, after halfway through the Book of Matthew chapter 5, I accidentally dropped my phone and change the screen and I went back to where I was and chose Matthew 5 again I went back to the last verse I was on but there's no way to do that! So you got to go through the whole thing all over again just to get back to where you were, pretty frustrating! It also stops at the end of each chapter makes it impossible to relax and let it play.

I paid a lot of money for the Word of Promise app and this one is simply a copycat of the one I've already paid for. With this app you can only choose chapters but you can't choose individual versus however with the Word of Promise app that I paid for you can choose a chapter and then choose your verse plus it has many other features that this copycat app does not even have so even though this app has the same voices and the same actors, I'm uninstalling for the reasons stated.
