The Henderson County North Carolina Sheriff’s Office mobile application is an interactive app developed to help improve communication with area residents. The Henderson County Sheriff App allows residents to connect with the sheriff’s office by reporting crimes, submitting tips, and other interactive features, as well as providing the community the latest public safety news and information.

The app is another public outreach effort developed by the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office to improve communication with county residents and visitors.

This app is not intended to be used to report emergency situations. Please call 911 in an emergency.

Definitely keep on top of things. Amazing some of the arrests though. I was in security at a big box store and some of people I caught are still at it.

Has so many permissions that are both necessary. And I feel like invades a person's privacy. Before this app a person was able to go online to the Henderson County NC sheriff department website and look at the current inmate roster and charges and bond amount but it is exclusively only able to view this info through the app. And the app asks every time I use it for my location and access to my contact list and my camera and my microphone etc..all of which I feel like are unnecessary. I Rate 0

So far I'm really happy with the app. It's easy to use and navigate. I think it will also be user friendly to the less tech savvy generation, which is great. I downloaded this about an hour ago and so far no issues or concerns, I'm anxious to see how often the app is updated and how current it stays.
