As a train enthusiast, I had a blast with Train Station 3! This game is a great time killer that hits a sweet spot: I can play for a bit, put it down while I wait for a fuel delivery at the station and my trains go through maintenance, and then jump right back in for more. There are always tasks to do, which keeps you engaged with progression, unlocking new trains, and finding upgrade parts. Highly recommend!

Great potential killed by being a money grab. This game is very promising but as others have stated their pricing for some of the in game items is OUTRAGEOUS. When you're not waiting for fuel or maintenance the game is captivating but I would rather be waiting for a job to complete than to be waiting to send another train. From what I've read maintenance "costs" alone for the trains as the game progresses get ridiculous. I considered buying the starter pack but this game seems too greedy

Overall I really enjoy this game, and the unlocking of various trains, and maps, as well as being able to upgrade your trains, and their hauling capacity. My one and only complaint is how horrible your durability is on your trains for short term events in game. I'm sorry but being able to send every train only once to the event tasks before they're in need of repairs is just stupid, annoying, and extremely frustrating! That is one of two reasons this is only a four star game.
