Gopaladas - The foremost among the Haridas of Kannada Nadu.
Disciples of Vijaya Dasas and devotees of Bhaghanna are revered as Gopaladas.
Inspired by Sri Raghavendra Swamy, Sri Vijayadas, Sri Gopaladas and Sri Jagannath Das led the rebirth of Dasa literature.
Purandara Dasa, Vijayadasa, Gopaladasa and Jagannath Das are collectively known as Dasa Chatuyas.
Sri Gopaladasa was thus one of the most important disciples of Vijayadas who became famous under the influence of Roy.
His father's maiden name was Bhaganna.
Bhagna Gayatri performed the mantra and prophesied to the people and lived their lives.
At that time he composed and sung words by the mark of Venkatakrishna.
Then the Vijayadas, a devotee of Venkatesha and a disciple of Purandaradas, met Bhagannan.
He got the title of 'Gopala Vithala' and became known as Gopaladasare.
