The CITB Health, safety and environment (HS&E) operatives and specialist test app offers the only complete revision experience available. This app contains everything you need to know to book, prepare for - and sit the test.

Ratings and reviews

The size of the images depicting a worker are very small on the mobile phone screen. You can barely see the PPE the worker wears, and as you can't zoom the image, it's mostly guessing rather than actually deciding on the correct answer. The images need to be enlarged and the question spread on two pages or the learner to be able to zoom the image in and out.

I waited till I finished the test before I rested it, and it's a really helpful app, provided you're willing to put in effort. Unironically a really helpful piece of revision, would definitely recommend.

Definitely worth getting to prepare for your test. Easy to use. The practice questions and mock tests are very useful. The app identifies problematic questions and you can also manually flag questions. Even if you're confident you'll pass the test you're likely to have some gaps in your knowledge. One tip: Ensure you select the correct test in the settings e.g. Operative for the green Labourer card.
