About this game

Playful and entertaining training of vision and fine motor skills; developed for children with visual and multiple disorders.

Let's find out what’s hiding behind the door! The game is so simple that even children with limited fine motor skills can control the game. Tailor-made for children with central visual impairment (CVI).

The EDA PLAY ELIS app was developed in cooperation with low vision specialists and experts in the field of early intervention and care for children with special needs.

A surprise behind the door, a simple touch on a screen, engaging tasks with Ellie:

- Touch and find out what's hiding behind the door!

- The repeated moment of surprise encourages motivation to follow the story.

- Engaging and playful game, cause and effect tasks: Let's explore tasks with animals, grandpa, baking a cake or doing laundry!

- Playful training of fine motor skills: Highly motivating tasks with a dog, a cat and an elephant.

- Designed to train visual attention and visual perception: High-contrast scenes, bold colors, simple images

- Simple visual motor game for visually impaired toddlers and children with multiple disabilities, tailor-made for children with CVI.

- Interactive game: App so entertaining that it will delight children with special needs and even their siblings.

- Visual-motor coordination: By encouraging touch and interaction with visual elements on the screen, it helps improve hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.

- Attractive sound design and animations

- Audio guide: When viewing each task, we hear a spoken word (child's voice) explaining the task in an understandable way. Voice description of the task is available in Czech and English.

- White frame can be set to distinctively demarcate the work surface of the tablet display.

- The EDA PLAY ELIS app can also be used during the occlusion therapy.

- The Simulator of visual disorders enables adults to better understand how complicated the world is for children with visual disorders.

The authorship of the EDA PLAY ELIS app belongs to the non-profit organization EDA cz, z.ú. EDA develops apps for children with special needs, especially for visual and fine motor training, which are available worldwide. EDA provides meaningful tablet apps and games, responsibly developed in collaboration with early intervention specialists and experts in the field of vision and fine motor skills training.
