Rydo is an all Australian taxi app that connects with over 15,000 drivers across the country, it is fast, reliable and safe.

Rydo allows you to pay via the app with a stored credit card, or you can choose to pay direct to the driver. You can choose a maxi taxi, a station wagon, or a premium ride.

You can book a taxi immediately via the Rydo app, or prebook a taxi for later. You can prebook a taxi when heading to the airport, or that important business meeting.
When you prebook a taxi it works much the same as an instant booking, there are just a few more steps. and your driver will let you know when they are ready.

Our Rydo rides are simple:

Ratings and reviews

The app has a nice interface, and works without Google location services which is very good. Being able to save drivers you liked and request a ride from them again is good. The fares tend to be very competitive. "We are everywhere you need to be" isn't entirely accurate, and neither is the the FAQ answer "We are in all major cities" - Rydo is not in at least one capital city. To Rydo's credit, when I sent an email seeking clarification on where they operate, it was answered very quickly.

My last 2 experiences were enough to say, "I'll never use it again!!" Not recommended at all!! We booked a taxi to the airport at 3am (early international flight with 1 yo), and they cancelled me 15 min before it was meant to arrive! They didn't even try to send a new one. Second time, the driver went to the destination rather than to the pick up point! Of course, wasting time! And they didn't even apologised or gave me a discount, nothing!

Prebook taxi from overseas for airport pickup, received wrong pickup time via sms confirmation. Can't make changes with the link provided, email with no response. Sent me 3 drivers for pickup, finally drivers organise the change. Downloaded the app, not working. Cant view prebook details, doesn't work. Tried to book online also didn't work. Prebook cost was about $75. Actual cost paid was $89. Wasn't what was advertised as fixed cost!!! Waste of time with Rydo
