Ratings and reviews

I would like if there was an option to undo or cancel an order, for example, in case of accidental ordering (accidental clicking of the 'Place Order' button). Zomato couldn't find a delivery person, so I had to cancel the cash on delivery (COD) order after waiting for a while, to which Zomato suspended my COD option, which is highly unfair. I wrote to them, but they did not reactivate my COD option.

New review - This virtual assistant is useless. Now there is no option to connect with human customer care. Also many restaurants are shown as open despite being closed. I wait for an hour for order, then it says restuarant not available. Old review - Normally the app is good. But when it provides offers (nation wide especially), the service is slow, the promo code doesn't work half the times, all the restaurants suddenly stop taking orders, the customer support doesn't work. A waste of time.

I'm used to ordering from Swiggy and was completely unaware of Zomato's cancellation policy. Apparently, even if your "avoid calling" button is on, if you don't pick up their calls (even if your delivery address is in a well known location to which previous delivery executives were perfectly able to find their way), they'll cancel your order and say, 'your order has been cancelled PER YOUR request' (even if you never made such a request). Oh, & you don't get your money back. They just keep it.
