About this game

Spanish Verb Conjugation is a fun and effective way to learn how to conjugate Spanish verbs. In Spanish, most sentences use only the verb to show who did something and when. So, it’s very important to learn how to conjugate verbs. However, with over 86 different ways to conjugate verbs, for most people, it’s hard work and tedious. Not any more!

With Spanish Verb Conjugation, you have a choice between two types of game. There is the gentle, flowing “Flowers” game, and the quick-fire “Pick from Three” game. The choice is up to you. The Flowers game also has a speed slider, so you can also have a fast flowing, or, if you prefer, a slow flowing game. There is even the option to change the speed while playing.

Both games provide you with the verb in the infinitive, the person and the tense to conjugate. You then select the correct conjugation from those presented. Conjugate 20 verbs correctly to win. You will be surprised at how quickly you’ll learn all 10 persons: I, you singular formal, you singular informal, he, she, we, you plural formal, you plural informal, they masculine and they feminine.

You can learn all of the 10 most important tenses:
- Presente (Present tense)
- Pretérito (Simple past tense)
- Imperfecto (Imperfect past tense)
- Perfecto (Perfect past tense)
- Futuro (Future tense)
- Condicional (Conditional tense)
- Presente Subjuntivo (Present subjunctive)
- Imperfecto Subjuntivo (Past subjunctive)
- Imperativo Positivo (Positive imperative)
- Imperativo Negativo (Negative imperative)
Depending on where you are in your Spanish learning journey, start with just the tenses you want to learn and add new tenses as you progress.

We have included over 3,600 of the most used verbs in Spanish today. With “Learn New Verb”, you’ll quickly learn the most commonly used verbs first before moving on to verbs that are used less often in daily conversation. Alternatively, you can search for a verb you've just learned. Let us know if you find one we haven't included.

“Revise Verbs” will ensure that you don’t forget what you’ve learned. We’ve built in our version of the spaced repetition learning technique, so you will be presented with the verbs you’ve previously learned when you need to revise them. We use a combination of the number of revisions and game play statistics to calculate the right time between revisions. That means you’ll revise verbs only when needed and not every day.

If that’s not enough, we’ve also got a “Word of the Day”. Each day you’ll get one of our over 3,600 verbs. That alone will give you something different each day for the next 10 years! Impress your friends with your ever increasing vocabulary.

Whatever your style of playing, there is something here for you.

Have fun!
