This app has never been following Material/Apple design patterns. The UI is better with last update even though they lots of frown-upon components. However, the the UX has gotten utterly worse as many actions require more steps. For the development team, this update may seem intuitive and easy. That's simply because they worked on it for long. I truly believe there has been none/scarce user testings. Guys, it's easy. Outsource the design, and develop in-house.

trying to log in. using my emirates ID, login button does nothing. using MRN, it tells me I don't have an account (I do). trying to recover medical file, when I input the OTP, I get "error, you are not authenticated". worst of all is that calling will also not get you anywhere... very frustrating.

The new version has alot of new features. The app is wonderful and provide quick any easy service. I liked the idea of checking the lab/radiology results online. Recently, I noticed a performance issues, the App is slow and keep hanging, I failed to have two adjacent appointments to my kids. Finally I returned to the call center to book the appointments.
