I spent 30 min trying to figure out the steps to this overly complicated test, only to find out at the last step on the app that because the kit it expired, it refuses to show results. Waste of money and time. Really scummy forcing an app for this, so unnecessary to collect my personal info. And the videos are so slow. Now we get to throw out all these kits unused, waste of taxpayer money.

1 star for everything working as designed. With that said, I will only use this test if there are no alternatives. As others pointed out, it's too intrusive and too wasteful for something that's only used once. Not to mention the high price. Anyone who is tech challenged (e.g. my mother-in-law) will never be able to use this. Tip: if you don't want to share private info, put a bunch of garbage into the form. You'll get your results regardless and just take a screenshot if needed.

Ellume test kit is terrible. It requires scanning a code and using Bluetooth for a simple test, which my elderly in-laws couldn't figure out how to use. When I tried it, I had to fill out my personal information multiple times, and every time I got to the video step, it automatically went back to the first step, and the video wouldn't play. It's frustrating because my family has several of these test kits that were provided by the government, and they're all junk!
