Rakuken Cloud Service Application (Rakuken App) is a smartphone application used for the Rakuken Cloud Authentication Service. Instead of traditional hardware tokens, the raku authentication app can not only reduce costs, but also realize various functions such as OTP authentication, push authentication, QR code authentication, and face authentication. With multi-factor authentication, Rakken cloud authentication service can realize a secure login method and protect user's account more fully.
You can add multiple accounts after downloading and activating the Rakuken app. The raku authentication app generates tokens corresponding to each account. Every token utilizes its own seed key. When a user logs on to a system that uses the Rakuken Cloud Authentication Service, there are authentication methods as follows.
OTP authentication: Authenticate with a one-time password generated from the Raku authentication app when logging in.
Push authentication: When logging in, a message "Do you want to allow login?" You can log in by tapping "Allow". Conversely, you can fail the login by tapping "Deny". You can also successfully log in by shaking your smartphone while the message "Do you want to allow login?" is displayed. Login will fail if you do nothing.
QR authentication: A QR code will be displayed when you log in. Scan this QR code with the Rakuken app and tap "Allow" to log in successfully.
Face Recognition: When logging in, a message is sent to the user's smartphone's raku-authentication app asking, "Are you sure you want to log in?" Tap "Allow" to activate the smartphone's camera. The login will be successful if you face the camera with the face registered in the Raku-kun app in advance.
