I thank you for allowing a brief period to explore Idagio and what it has to offer. The user interface is really nice, the app overall is easy to use and the sound quality is excellent. However, Idagio falls short on the number of albums in the library. For instance, I am a connoisseur of the music of Vaughan William's and have discovered a large number of CD's and pieces missing that are included in Spotify. Also, the number of albums and music of the Renaissance is about 1/6 that of your competitor. As for artists, those whose music is recorded on the Hyperion, Naxos or Marco Polo labels are few., and recordings on the old Phillips and London labels are also limited. I approximate that Idagio's library is about at or below 1/2 of Spotify's. That is why, for now, I gave you app 3 stars.

Classical Music Streaming - IDAGIO

Dear John, thanks for your extensive feedback. As a fairly young service we are indeed still growing our catalogue with around 15,000 tracks a week and just reached overall 1,000,000 tracks in our catalogue. Feel free to share with us which albums you have been missing, so we can provide more information to you. Best regards, Lukas from IDAGIO

This app is amazing for classical music streaming. Spotify, Deezer, etc would always frustrate me with how they categorize/tag classical. Idagio makes it a lot easier to search by performer, composer, or view a list of different performances for a single piece. I can save an entire piece to my favorites without having to save each movement separately. A couple things would make this a 5 star app imo: save my spot in a piece when I close the app, and Google Assistant integration.

From the description, it seems clear that lossless audio is included for the $9.99 per month, but it is not included. This is extremely misleading and led to me choosing this app over the competitor, Primephonic. In addition, when streaming an album, there is a significant delay between tracks. This is disruptive when tracks are intended to be continuous or transition smoothly. Otherwise, I absolutely love this app and it would easily get 5 stars. Love the search by instrument!
