Crashes using Android 14. Used to work perfectly well, but now trying to play one of the channels just crashes the app. They have "c-span now" but I can't use it to listen to just the audio stream unless I have a cable TV package... Which I don't. "Now" does do the video stream without that, but it would be nice to be able to stream audio instead while away from a WiFi network...

C-Span Radio provides audio streams of 90.1 WCSP-FM in Washington, DC, and the C-Span TV channels, as well as access to C-Span's podcast library. It's an excellent resource for topical non-fiction content, and I strongly recommend it. Some users have experienced interruption using the latest version, as I have done. I have resolved this by checking background battery and network settings on Android, and note that using a hidden WiFi network can also cause problems. Stick with it, and good luck.

As others have stated this app cuts out (at random intervals) when your device isn't unlocked. Sometimes when I unlocked my phone the app it had just 'dropped' the station and I would have to click it again. Other times as soon as I unlock the phone surprise! Stream works again. Either way this is app unusable as a portable pocket radio.
