Well apparently the app only supports NCB's credit cards and not their Visa debit cards. I've been trying to login to this app for about 3 days now and all I kept getting was a message advising me that there was an unexpected error. It would have been nice if the adverts in the NCB online banking apps mentioned that this new NCB pay app was for credit cards only.

We are working on having Visa Debit also accessible and will ensure you, our valued customer be made aware as soon as it is ready. Thank you for your feedback.

It's been a great emergency option in the event I've left my card. It works really well. 8/10 places support NCB pay based on my assessment. A great addition would be including a watch (wear os) companion app, it's not very hard, and would complete the contact less experience.

Thank you for your feedback Brandon, wearables are also on our road map. Keep enjoying the use of NCB Pay and the holiday season.

I do like the concept of the app, and its intended purposes to make paying for goods easier, while safeguarding your card. However, most places I do shopping at in Jamaica do NOT accept NCB Pay as method for paying for goods and services, which defeats the purpose of the app. KFC, Burger King, Wendy's, Mother's, Fantana Pharmacy and Juicy patties are a few of those places that refuses the use of this app. They all wants you to use the physical card instead.
