Enjoy your favorite music player in a highly customizable way with a 7-31 band equalizer, multiple sound presets, balance and pre-gain volume.

Choose between 7, 11, 15, 21 or 31 bands for the equalizer - depending on how much precision you need.

Whether you want to adjust uneven headphones with different frequency and volume output - or compensate a hearing loss - this app is for you.
The ability to pinpoint a frequency band for a particular ear/side makes SpotEQ31 unique.

From version 2.0 there is a built-in media and podcast player.

From version 1.10.5 this app doesn't contain any ads. You can use it for free to change the sound quality of your music player app and, if choosing to, unlock basic features like saving custom presets for a one-time fee. There is also a premium subscription available.

The app EQ bands show center-frequencies, meaning the lowest band should also affect the lowest possible Hz your device can reproduce.

Follow the in-app instructions for best results
1. It's safest to uninstall all other equalizer apps.
(Many problems arise from having multiple apps using audio effects)

2. Press ENABLE in SpotEQ31
A notification indicates the app is working in the background.

3. RESTART PLAYER APP and play music
Force stop the app, then reopen and play a new track. Easily hear change with preset Low Cut.

Fix bad headphones
If you have bad or broken headphones/earphones where the sound is uneven in left and right ear, you should be able to compensate for this by using this app. Some headphones may sound better and avoid distortions if you lower the pre-gain.

Improve your music experience without a hearing aid
If you have a hearing impairment and are using a hearing aid in your daily life, you can try to compensate the sound with this app. Just adjust both left and right side frequency bands, and depending on your specific hearing loss you might find a setting that hits your sweet spot for listening to music without your hearing aid! Consulting your audiologist or audiogram is advisable. Sometimes a simple volume balance to left or right side can do wonders.

Best music EQ out there! some give you 5 or 7 maybe a 10 band beginners EQ with too much bass boost and they don't work with certain apps. I use Prime music since the quality can go so high. I use it in my home theatre through a dolby Atmos system. I'm done downloading content that sounds like it comes from a tin can. I am an audiophile who loves to adjust every nuance of my system. I think this app is mandatory for folks who use their phones as their car audio source. it's amazing.

Latest update helps but still stops working while listening to YouTube with no apparent reason. Always works with Pandora. Sometimes switching to Pandora and then back to YouTube solves the problem. Sometimes it works with YouTube for a day or more. I've exhausted every avenue trying to find the problem. Can't locate the problem with compatibility in YouTube app. Moto z4 os version 10. Otherwise a great EQ! Better than any others in the cell phone market by far.

works great awesome customization only downside faced with is the change from having ability to upgrade options via viewing a few small ads per option one would like to unlock. I was kinda bummed out when the new fee schedule came into effect with the addition of a monthly subscription being only way to experience the app on its entirety but in all honestly if I wasn't piss poor the app is great and id certainly pay if had ability so if looking for a EQ look no further this is the one

What's new

* App now tries to use the global sound output instead of scanning for audio separately, this might improve sound connection. If needed (not usually recommended) you can still activate background audio scanning from the Settings menu.
* To keep the app running in the background, battery permission is needed. The app will now notify if that is not yet granted.
* Improved UI for large font sizes
