You should play it. The mechanics are easy to understand, difficulty is just right, achievements are achievable and the upgrades they unlock are well thought out, the sound design is great, the pixel art are solid, and I haven't had any bugs. Best of all, the game is FREE with no ads! This is genuinely an amazing game. If all mobile games were like this, I wouldn't need to game on PC.

It's a great game. I only wish it had a few QoL features added. Having a heat map stay on, for all enemies in the options, or the ability to undo a move, once per floor would be a boon. I've lost count how many runs were ruined over a simple mistake. Doubt a dev will read this but a person could hope. Also, I would love for a payable expansion.

A bite-sized but deceptively complex and well-balanced strategy game made specifically with touch control in mind. The look is decidedly bare bones retro, which is fine, though more animations or graphical modes would be nice. And daily challenge modes add longevity but not quite enough to give the game a "daily play" hook. Still, the core experience is so good that you'll return for more strategic fun. One of my few mobile purchases and one I don't regret.
