I have used this succesfully for over a year. I will say it works best when using an Android mobile phone and an Apple device.... Android to Android I dont always have the same sucess(which is why 4 stars). However, I use it to stream videos on my iPad all the time. There are certain apps which regulate the use of a vpn, one that comes to mind is Paramount+ and those particular apps won't show my device as "connected" when it certainly is, but thats not on the developer.

No root required. Full speed (not throttled like the option provided by on Android menu). However it did require a couple attempts to connect, and there is an extra step on windows to set up a proxy connection ("internet options" on Win 10). This step must be undone when you switch back to a regular wifi network. I still would expect that carriers inspect traffic for outliers, and using this would probably make you one, so good idea to use VPN as well if possible.

The Fastest speed hotspot, much better than PDA net. Only thing i wish it could run games too , unfortunately games and things like trading software don't see internet connection. If it did it would be the best best. Im getting 150mps speeds on direct wifi while other apps give me 20 at best and some limitations. There is one app SecureTether that allows you play games but it is way 10x slower speeds. Props to NetBridge for insane speeds!
