Rainy Days shows you weather radar doppler observations from multiple sources on a fully interactive map. You can zoom in, pan and search for locations.

Rainy Days uses multiple sources of data, not one map for the whole world. This gives you the most recent data for your location. Therefore, Rainy Days works best when zooming in to your local area.

Rainy Days uses real doppler observations and only falls back to satellite sourced data for areas without any doppler radars present.

I figure I should review this app now since I've used it for years and years. It's a great app. I wish I could more deeply fine tune the animation, like custom set the interval for updates and set the begin time in hours (it would be awesome to see the last 24 hours of radar, for example). This would certainly get me into the app more often, because it would be more useful. But it's still a great app and I really like it.

I've had this app on every mobile phone I've ever had (18+yrs ), even when using other weather apps. I love the straightforward info and the 2 hour history to be able to watch weather patterns, as well as the ability to look at radar weather almost anywhere in the world.

Paid for this app WAY BACK. Have loved it ever since... It is my go to. Opens right to the important info in any weather event. I am able to view other areas quickly by moving map around without putting in zip codes, states, or cities. It just WORKS WITH EASE! The developer is responsive.
