I can't believe how accurate the calculations were. And the variety of shapes for different applications made a complete tool for me to use in my workshop. Wouldn't mind a reverse calculation option. Put the weight in and diameter and it calculate the length I would need. But not a necessity. Great job.

Overall app is good. But some of the flaws are as below:- 1. H beam and I beams are not differentiated. Weight of both will not be the same for a particular length. 2. More details of the steel sections should be provided such as edge radius, etc... Because all steel sections and not coming in sharp corners. In internet you can see some website which gives all these details of the steel sections. 3. The weight of steel section is not exact. You can rely on this app for an approximate figure.

1. It is very nice and small neglible difference between standards. 2.Cancel after calculation button should be available, this will be helpful to do next calculation w/o going out and come in. 3. Some 20 to 30 calculation can be auto saved so that we can recall the variant do modification and repeat other values. This can be very useful to do fast work. Similarly reverse can be made, that is while wt is known, length is known, or size is known, other variable can be found out. Thanks.
