Ratings and reviews

While I'm happy with HDFC Ergo's insurance plans and service, the app is quite appalling if you need to do anything more than check to make sure you have coverage. Most of the features in the app don't work and information isn't easily accessible. Almost all actions require an otp but once you submit it you find yourself back at the same page requiring the otp yet again. An endless loop of frustration!

The fitness tracking module is useless. Does not sync correctly with your fitness tracking app. My fitness app shows 10,000 steps while this HDFC ERGO app, even after connecting and syncing with my fitness app shows 0 steps. The page load is excruciatingly slow. HDFC ERGO customer care tells you to mail a screenshot of their fitness screen on their app, which shows 0, so you can't avail the discount of 8% on premium payment. So basically that feature of discount is just a marketing gimmick.

Poor app. Can't renew the insurance which we are paying since it was apollo Munich. Customer care support also worst. They don't know anything. Can't solve the issues. They just say technical error. It should be resolved. This much big company Can't maintain app properly. Shame for management. From u ppl we can't able to renew my 5 years old insurance. It was far better wen it was apollo Munich. Poor app interference. Many times complained, no improvement from them.
