Why we ask for permissions:

We ask for permissions only when we can use them to make our application better.
Below is a brief explanation of why we've requested the permissions that we have.

- Internet
Procore is a cloud service, we need to use the internet.

- Access Network State
Procore retains some functionality when you are offline, we need to know when!

- Write Contacts
We use this permission to allow you to copy a contact from your Procore Directory to your phone.

- Read Contacts
We are currently building the ability to copy a contact from your Phone into your projects. We had this feature at one point, but needed to make improvements before making it widely available. (Soon!)

- External Storage
We use this permission to allow you to download documents, view documents, and upload images downloaded from elsewhere or taken with your built in camera application.

- Camera
We use this permission to allow users to take photos.

- Installed Applications
We use the list of installed applications to find viewers for documents and determine if you have Google Maps installed (try clicking the project address in our side bar!)

- *NEW* Accounts and account information
We recently upgraded our application to use Android's built in account management features.
This allows us to be smarter about logging in and provide a lot of new enhancements (check out our widget for quickly uploading pictures from your home screen!)

- *NEW* Location
We recently asked for the location feature.
We are using it to GeoTag images if you select that option in our Camera.

Ratings and reviews

works great for the most part. the only thing that is aggravating is the extremely long time it takes to load on the time sheets. especially when you are reviewing all projects. I've waited almost 5 minutes just for the time cards to load for one week. also when filling out forms with one wrong move it completely deletes all progress. and you have to start completely over and have everyone line back up again to sign. other than that not bad. could use a symbols tab for adding to the prints .

Why don't any of my bookmarks save for longer than about a day? I've continued to try this many many times, when I bookmark something sure it appears saved in the bookmarks location and works for maybe a day or two, then they disappear. really frustrating because these bookmarked shortcuts would make my life so much easier. I don't clear any kind of cache so I don't understand what's wrong here

This app makes my life easier! A couple notes: it would be good if submittals could be responded to on the app and not just on the website. If this is already possible then it would be good to make it more intuitive or to include a tutorial (currently could not find one by googling it). Also, it seems there is a glitch when using the flash to take pictures when during punch list. The camera will not take a picture after using the flash unless i either restart the app or take the flash off.
