About this app

Welcome to the Quext IoT Resident App! Residents within Quext IoT communities can enjoy complete control of their thermostat and lock right from their phone.

This app allows residents within a connected community to remotely adjust their thermostat, create “events” for temperature changes, and more. Forget your key? The Quext IoT app allows residents to lock and unlock their apartment and designated community areas directly through their phone.

Note: This application is intended for apartment communities utilizing Quext IoT technology. If your apartment doesn’t currently have Quext IoT, let us know at onequext.com/contact and we’ll reach out to your property manager.

Never, EVER remembers my creds, so I have to put my username and password in every single time I launch the app. Now has started to not work at all, won't let me change the AC/Heat... worthless app. Edit, the issue still isn't fixed! I still have to log in every time AND it still doesn't actually let me change AC/Heat. How does this happen...

We're very sorry for this, it appears that the issue is still with us. We expect to completely resolve it in the 2.2.0 release. Please follow the updates. Again, this is something we're actively working on at the moment.

There were 4 updates required in the past week!! Password, biometric, code are all saved but never show up. I always have to log in manually. Thermostat doesn't work with the app. What a pain! Edit 7/19: Thank you for responding. This is fixed now.

This is, without a doubt, the single worst developed app I have ever used in my 15+ years of using apps and smart devices. If you are a property manager, STEER CLEAR of this horrid service. Not only does this complete disaster of an app never work, but you can't even get real customer support. I have never left an online review of any product I have used ever, and I didn't plan to, until I met quext. I need way more than 500 characters to be able to describe all of its problems. DO NOT USE QUEXT
