Speedometer‏ Alert is a simple free application that uses GPS to track and monitor your actual speed, distance and give you sound alarm when the specified speed is exceeded.

It is really excellent and useful app. but I prefer to have an option that the alarm continue for 15 seconds only and within 20 km above the adjusted limit to decrease the noise and to be possible to adjust it.

Tried many apps to measure speed during jogging and walking, this is the best, custom shortcuts for quick speed alert adjustments, the fact that you can adjust speed in decimals not only whole numbers makes a big difference while measuring speed while on your feet, great app, thank you شكرا

I used it on 15th August for my over all road trip for 450 KM. I enjoyed a lot. I adjusted the alarm as per my car speedometer, means after crossing above 80 KM it started alarming, which helped me to maintain car speed as per the Highway rules, plus giving me an average of 22 KM with AC (Renault Duster Diesel 8.5 year age). Only one thing I want to add : This app must also work in background when using other apps. Overall I am too much satisfied with the app
