I'm sure the developer put a lot of work into this. However, while you can change the frame color, the main editing area apparently remains a glaring white, even when you've selected a system-wide dark mode. Sorry, I can't shine a flashlight in my face while I'm writing. 🤷‍♂️

THE #1 TEXT EDITOR IN THE GOOGLE STORE. I USED VLK TEXT EDITOR FOR A LONG TIME ON SEVERAL ANDROID DEVICES WITHOUT PROBLEM. AWESOME INTERFACE AND LOGO. ABILITY TO SAVE TEXT FILES PROPERLY AND OVERWRITE. AND THE PRACTICAL FEATURE WHEN SAVING FILES IS THAT YOU DON'T HAVE TO NAVIGATE THROUGH THE STORAGE FOLDERS TO CHOOSE THE FOLDER WHERE YOU'D LIKE TO SAVE THE TEXT FILE IT OPENS SYSTEMATICALLY THE STORAGE FOLDERS FOR YOU WHICH IS VERY RARE. VLK IS A UNIQUE TEXT EDITOR. GREAT JOB. Love❤️it!

Like it so far. One suggestion; remember last folder used. This would allow for less navigating through the file hierarchy since I usually open and save all my text files to the same folder. Also "Find and Replace" does not seem to work.
