About this app

Analyzes the drone's live video feed and applies computer vision technology to track a face or a person.

TelloMe supports the ActiveTrack modes Trace, Parallel, Orbit and Spotlight. Plus there is a unique selfie-stick mode where Tello always stays in front of you (analyzing your body / head position).

The basic app carries several restrictions (no video recording, no screen recording). You can remove the restrictions by purchasing the recording & screen recording add-on as an in-app purchase from the first menu item.

Decent little app. I'd like to request that you add a follow object, rather than just follow person. I race RC cars, and having it hone in on say...a LED color on the car, or the paint color, or its motion would be very useful for me. Bought the paid version to try and see if it would see one of my cars as a person but no luck. Still, the app works well for people, so I cant complain, just a request. Worst case I'll write a little program of my own for car follow, just hoped to save time.

Update 8 Sep. - All is good ! Developer's updated program running smoothly. Tested follow, orbit and spotlight. All are working perfectly ! Tested working before buying. Even run the performance test and fly. The moment i bought the software , the app asked to run performance test and it will just freeze at 0% at the performance test. I cant make use of the tracking app unless i pass the performance test. Uninstall and install app doesnt help .

Excellent app. Some nice control modes, fully recommended if you want to automate some filming with your drone. Just launch it, position it where you want to start, then get it to follow you (turn off rotation if you want it to stay in front, otherwise it will track you from behind)
