New Year: On January 1st of every new year, your list will automatically be archived and saved in the app, and a new list will be created with the people carried over.

This list WAS absolutely awesome. I used it for holidays, birthdays, and Christmas but on New Years it deleted everything. Didn't even ask if I wanted my gift options cleared out, it just did it. So I lost EVERYTHING. And what bothers me most is there's an option to backup the lists and I had done it several times so I tried recovering them but it said that the app was too old when I backed it up for it to restore to the 'new version'. I only backed it up 2 months ago. Just trash.

I love this app. Very handy and keeping my Christmas organized. Plus, all of my parents have birthdays within a month of Christmas, so I use this to keep track what I have purchased for birthdays versus Christmas. I've definitely recommended this to friends. Things I'd love to see in an update: 1. A "Received" box - the app has a button for whether you have bought and wrapped each gift. However, I often order things online. it would be very helpful to be able to track how many items have been purchased versus how many items have been received. 2. A way to transfer gifts from one person to another - Sometimes I buy something for one office party, but decide to take it to a different office party. Being able to transfer that gift from one recipient to another within that would be very handy rather than deleting and recreating the gift listing. 3. A way to save gifts for next year - the app does a fantastic job of archiving your gift list from previous years. This means that I can look back to see what I bought somebody last year or prior. However it would be really handy to defer gifts into a future year. I may have a lot of really fantastic ideas for my mother-in-law this year that I want to save and remember for next Christmas. Future me would thank you a lot for this improvement!!!

Been using for a couple of years and has proven most helpful for remembering not only what I purchase (and hide!) throughout the year but also when ideas pop to mind, easy place to record them. Also great for budgeting. PLEASE add the ability to create gift lists other than annual Christmas. This app would be even better if I could plan and track birthdays, especially when shifting Christmas gifts to/from birthdays which are close to the holidays.
