The Risale-i Nur, which was written by Bediuzzaman Said Nursi in the period of 1925-1950 in Turkey, is a commentary on the Holy Qur'an. The Risale-i Nur is a substantive commentary of the Holy Qur'an, which sets forth the truths of faith in him (= the Qur'an) and interprets. Most Ayat which are set forth in the Risale-i Nur, deal with the truths of faith (iman), such as the name of Allah, His attributes, His power of disposal in the universe, His existence, ubiquity and unity, resurrection, afterlife, prophethood, the fate (= God's foreknowledge) and the acts of worship (ibadah) of man.
