Saw a tutorial online about sharing files from Android to PC wirelessly and it mentioned this software. Just installed it... and promptly uninstalled it. I have a Note10+ and it made it crawl. Took forever to open, caused the phone to almost crash, even made the home screen buttons sit lower on the display. Had to restart my phone afterwards as just uninstalling it still caused problems. I've seen some of the responses from the dev, I don't expect a mature response, everything seems to be "Well it works for me, so it should work for you..." to making fun of people and their choice of tech (Raspberry Pu? Really?) Wouldn't pay .99 for this let alone 3.99.

This app is the only one out of dozens that can perform the service that I need. It has a simple interface that is easy to use and functions as a user would hope. Except for a complication with purchase restoration- The $5 upgrade is available only through inapppurchase option does not work, I was not able to restore my purchase but the purchase price was refunded, I would definitely give this app 5 stars.

It's a fine samba server, but doesn't deliver on performance. Running as a background service on Android 11, it constantly disconnected. As a foreground app, that improved. But for throughput, the paid version delivers only 125KiB/s or so on a Pixel 3a. Free version only delivers 33KiB/s, not 0.5MB/s as advertised. My WiFi is capable of 450Mb/s, so I know it's not WiFi. Due to slowness, it's not useable for much.

I also own a Pixel3a and get fast connection because my wifi is ok, it’s all about your network wifi. The only known bug happens with old Mac finder client but apple fixes it after (don’t remember when, probably after Yosemite)
